I am doing an art project on lost communities on Sheppey and I’m focusing on West Minster at the moment.
I’m wondering would it be ok if I use some of your brilliant photos in the project, they tell the stories well.

Can any body help in tracing a photo that was in the Sheppey Gazette showing a group of Westminster residents outside the Globe Pub the headlines were All dressed in there finery for a day out, it contains a great many of the Mepsteads from Westminster and i would love to find a copy

Yes Beverly Skipper Roy lived next to the chaple in Montigiue road.
They still live on the island .

My great uncle and great aunt - Jack and Esther Hudson lived at 106 Cromwell Rd since before WW1 with their son Jack. They had died by the time the village was demolished. Cousin Jack moved to a flat in Linden Grove.

My aunt/uncle and family lived in westminster until it was redeveloped,they were the Masseys,uncle Peter was a regular at the pub.anyone know of them
