Mike, You are absolutely correct. The Sigma has a maximum apeture of f/6.3 at 200mm. I have reviewed other photos I took with the 10D, which I no longer own, and the Sigma lens, and many of these report f/5.6. Whereas, photos taken with my 30D correctly report f/6.3, so it would appear that this issue is related to the 10D.
