Bonneville Speedway (Wendover, Utah)

Just up ahead, the salt flats access road ends. My car is parked there.
Next to it is a metal sign describing the area. The Bonneville Speedway
runs across the salt beyond the road; most of its length is to the left.

As a teenager riding motor bikes (and surviving). Bonneville was a magical, distant place , where real men went, to be the fastest.
