This shows me near the top end of the 4922 plateau, which dips to the southwest. On this first visit I stayed only long enough for a lunch break, then headed for the nearby plateau of domes above Corona Arch. This picture was taken in May 2014. A year later I returned and explored most of the plateau.

At center in this view to the southwest is the greenery of the north end of Amasa Back, seen through the mouth of Culvert Canyon. If you look real hard you might see a sliver of the Colorado River.

This was Joe Tripod's first visit to the plateau too, but he didn't care. The only thing on his mind was standing still, holding my camera for this photo.
