Google Earth calls this “Little Pigeon Road,” no doubt because it runs to Little Pigeon Mountain That mountain is a low, dark strip to the right of the road. It’s dark because it is in shadow. Behind is is the Newfoundland Mountains. It shows up better in the original-size image.
