Finally, after over a month of gray, overcast skies, the sun shone well today (December 23rd). I hied off to the South Lagoon to see how good really is the 1D MII at fliers. I'm just starting to shoot RAW and I find it amazing how much detail and dynamic range can be squeezed out of the 1D MII sensor. I probably won't shoot JPEG again at birds.
