At last, I managed to get quite close to these shy and tiny Buttonquails (just over 5" in length).
The grasslands of the University of the Philippines - Los Banos (UPLB) in Laguna province was the outdoor studio this time...;-)

Nice captures Romy !!! They look so cute - sarap pisil pisilin ;-Þ You are so lucky talaga. I was looking at the KG earlier and this one seems to be the most beautiful one compared to the other varieties
