Checked out Candaba wetlands today (November 22nd).... great, the access road is already passable. I saw some Garganeys and the usual migrant waterbirds,
but the visiting ducks are not yet in full numbers. Perhaps, the bulk of these will arrive in early December. Although I brought the Sigmonster and 500 f4 IS with me,
I forced myself to shoot the super 100-400 IS exclusively to see if it really delivers critically sharp image quality with a 1.4x TC (560 mm, wide open).
