I’m sure it won’t come as any surprise to anyone who knows my car’s previous owner to know that when I bought it it was minging-ly dirty in the back. The previous owner has a dog that was obviously walked some way from home and transported to its place of exercise by car. The whole of the boot, the back headlining and rear seats were so ingrained with mud that we’ve been completely unable to shift it.

DM researched the problem and there were a number of alternatives – get someone in to valet it – that could have been an expensive valet business or a work colleague who does it on the side. It could have been do it ourselves with pro gear or it could have been to live with the skanky-ness. We decided on the middle ground after DMs extensive research revealed some specialist products to lift dirt.

When they were delivered to work, the person who’d been charged with selling the car before anyone knew I’d bought it ‘fessed up that we’d bought it too soon – he’d been tasked with cleaning it before selling it so we missed out on a clean!

Ah well, it may have been too late for someone else to do the job but DM, this tool and the pro cleaning chemicals have made a lovely job of the restoration and it now looks like new. He’s a star.
