episode five

Every day is a journey, the road of life with twists and turns
Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination
And a journey is best measured in friends rather than miles...

This gallery contains some loose ends from my last three trips to Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taipei.
I would like to dedicate it to my pbase friends who have been very supportive and believing in me.
I thank you all from the deepest bottom of my heart! Let another new journey begin!

I can see a theme emerging here - not sure if you are going to run with it but in the six photos already posted it seems that "the traveller" has shifted slightly, from being you to being the subjects of the photos; transport and movement seems to be featuring heavily - trains, wheelchairs, walking, a bicycle. I like the idea of these being fleeting glimpses into the wider journeys of these people, both figuratively and metaphorically.

It's always inspirational to look at your work AL. Take your time as photography is a journey. Like the ocean with it's tides and rubber bands springing back to and fro, we come back recharged, re-energised and with more powerful images and thoughts. Keep up the good work.
