Thanks for your interest! I had my camera on self-timer, and on a tripod, for the main photo, but also took a second photo without me in it. I combined them in photoshop to give the ever-so-slightly transparent effect. This was taken at work on the weekend. It was daytime, but the corridor was only lit by the light from the EXIT sign.
