On this floor the grinded flour arrives in the 2 wooden boxes on the left. They are connected to the 2 pair of grinding stones one floor higher. On the wall you see the thick rope that is used for operating the brake. In working condition this rope is lowered through a hole in the floor to the underlying floors and further to the outside. In the beams you see the engravings with the names of all the millers that operated this mill so far.
