Hi, I live in North Texas, Dallas area. I found what appears to be a red back spider, kin to the black widow, but endemic to Australia. Do you know if these exist in Texas? We have Back Widows, but I've never seen one of these before. Thanks

I have a spider i found that is orange on the top section and back and white stripes on the lower section... the legs are orange and black striped.... I can email a picture to someone who is interested.... my email is tamikirkendoll@gmail.com Thanks

what kind of black or dark brown spider carries it's front two legs high? i got it on video and you can see it at www.youtube.com/billyandtherockets. lighting is not real good but it does look like a black widow because of the egg shaped body but i never saw a spider that holds front legs up in the air and seems to have 3 joints in each front leg. video is called SPIDER CAM 1 SPIDER WHO LIKES TO DRINK COFFEE. I live on vancouver Island b.c. canada .Ive found a six legged spider .wish i could identify it it has two body sections but only six leggs.I have it captured in a bottle.

I am looking for info. on a largish white hairy spider that inhabits Southeast Texas. It would
resemble a small tarantula, has been seen in groups on isolated roads and in doorways.
Have not found any pictures or data on this particular spider. Thanks
