As a long time nature and wildlife enthusiast, I hope you will browse my collection of photographs and videos. With the exception of a few shots, all subjects were photographed in their natural environments. Minimal post-processing was utilized and restricted to cropping, light adjustment and minimal sharpening. I have a new Apple XS Max iphone which I am beginning to use with selected wildlife/nature shots. Thus far I am very impressed with the quality of these little cameras and I am finding that the iphone is an excellent compliment/suppliment to my DSLR cameras.

My current cameras include a Nikon D850 DSLR, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300 equipped with a Rode Videomatic Pro shotgun microphone, a Nikon D800 DSLR, a Nikon D300s DSLR and a Nikon Coolpix S8200. Lenses include Nikkor 300 mm f2.8, Micro Nikkor 105mm, f 2.8 and a Nikkor 24-120 mm f4.0 zoom lens. Teleconverters include Nikon TC 20Eiii 2.0x, TC-17Eiii 1.7x, and TC14Eiii 1.4x. Previous cameras owned and used to post photographs on this website include the Nikon D200 and D70 DSLR cameras. Very early photographs on this site were taken with Nikon Coolpix cameras including the 5400, 8700. Most of my photos were taken with the aid of a monopod but some were shot hand-held.

As of mid-2019, I have been using my iPhone XsMax camera to supplement by DSLR's and shoot selected videos

. I have attempted to correctly identify the various species of flora and fauna presented in my galleries. I invite you to call to my attention, any errors in identification and/or the correct identification of those species I have listed as "unidentified". I would also appreciate any suggestions as to how to improve the photos themselves.
