Spotted Apatelodes (7663)

Apatelodes torrefacta
The Spotted Apatelodes belongs to a group closely related to the famous giant silk moths,
although it is much smaller, with a wingspan of about 1.3–1.8 inches
When resting, the moth often raises its abdomen sharply upward, making it look like it's doing a handstand.
This distinctive pose helps distinguish it from many other moths.
