Silver Pheasant
The Silver Pheasant, (Lophura nycthemera) is endemic to the mountain forests of
Mainland Southeast Asia and China. This species is often seen as an escape which is the case with the bird in this gallery.
This bird was photographed at a research facility in Oakland, New Jersey.
