Osprey ("Fish Hawk") with a Meal

One of the alternative common names for the Osprey is the "Fish Hawk"
This gallery contains images of an adult osprey feasting on a freshly caught fish.
It has been reported by the Audubon Society that the Osprey can take out of the water, fish as large as 5 pounds(web4.audubon.org/bird/BOA/F2_G5a.html).
These images were taken on the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail, Orange Beach, Alabama.
