Saw one taking up its web this morning. Lovely little thing, with another fifteen feet away in shade who felt it was Ok to leave the web up a bit yet.

I think i have one of these in my yard. It is yellow and black. An interesting creature I might add.

these are the neatest spiders i have ever seen i have one in my tree the only piders that don't freak me out :D

I suggest that your spider is also a spiny orb wever in the genus Gasteracantha.
