Sometimes called the Blue Swallowtail, this Pipevine is nectaring
on an Orange Milkweed in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Northeast Alabama.
The partially open wings exhibit the ventral surface with spots and the dorsal surface showing the blueish irridescent color.
