IM110023.jpg

Thunder, now outside a day later and a LOT easier to be around. He had all of us gun-shy to try and get close to him when he was inside those first 24 hours. In fact, after deciding to go ahead and put him outside the next day (instead of keeping him in the big living/dining room for the first 2-3 weeks like we've done with all previous new cat acquisitions), none of us were brave enough to attempt to pick him up so we opened doors and stood well back to let him pass. The following day he disappearded for a few days straight before we found him living in the culvert at the edge of our driveway/highway entrance. It took a lot to coax him out but once we did, he's been very happy to live & stay in our front yard/porch or in the breezeway. He's now lasted longer at our house than the other 17 cats we've owned during these past 4-1/2 years.
