All of a sudden the river our highway had been paralleling turned into a BEAUTIFUL lake! I could not resist asking Dave to stop next to a tiny (almost hidden) roadside park that had about 4 picnic tables nestled under the trees next to the shore. This might be my favorite picture of our entire trip.
