These are photos taken during our longgg day's drive. The scenery changed many times. During our drive down the famous scenic byway of Turnagain Arm in the morning, the tide was out and the bay looked mostly like a mud-flat. During our return drive up Turnagain Arm the tide had been to its height just an hour before and was starting to recede again, but the bay looked mostly water. We saw several wind-surfers, using paraglide-style canopy's to whisk them over the waterway. Not an hour later, we stopped to hike up Flattop Mountain, and as we hiked up we saw a paraglider "gliding" over the mountain. Then as we were hiking back down, we came across two different hikers headed up the mountain, each had a large "backpack" on with a helmet attached to the top. They were headed to the top of the mountain to "glide" around.
