During my 3.5-hour hike, I never saw another human on the trail except Dave, and at times it was hard to tell where the trail went as it was primarily a trail made by the wildlife, and they meandered all over. All of our hiking in the past (in state or national parks) have ALWAYS been on well-maintained hiking trails, so that's what I thought I would be hiking on today. Nope, and the longer I went, the more worried I was that I might not be going the right way.
