Because of the chilly temperature, I pushed myself to walk faster than Dave (to get there, get the pictures and get OUT of there)! This was how far behind me he was when I got to the begining of the spiral elevated walk. He'd stopped a quick time or two to rest on the benches they conveniently had every .1 of a mile up the 1/2-mile trek, while my stops were only long enough to catch my breath and snap a picture along the way.
