This room is easily big enough for our king-sized bed, bookshelves, dresser, desk and sitting area plus ample open floor space. This room's only downfall (if a future owner planned to use it as a residence) are the two small, his & hers closets. However, with a house over 70 years old, its been enough closet space for all previous owners, including us. We would have loved to have had a walk-in closet since that's what we were used to for 20+ years before moving here, but have managed living here without one. (There is also a small coat closet for additional storage under the stairs with access from the foyer area.)
