Not too far from our resort was a gondola ride. We were probably the ONLY passengers taking this excursion in the light rainy/(foggy weather in the higher altitudes) but it was still beautiful. The gondola car had a small window on either side that could be opened, which I did in order to take better pictures of the fall foliage without raindrops covering the foreground of every picture. The pictures I took either looking straight up or straight down were full of raindrops. When we reached the top I walked out to the drop-off and took more photos but the foggy weather didn't give very good views.
