Mammals of Larose Forest

Many of the animals in Larose Forest are small and hard to see. There are some interesting small creatures such as Woodland jumping mouse, Hairy-tailed mole, and so on. These are almost never seen, or when seen are usually found dead. Of the bigger animals such as River otter, mink, raccoon, porcupine and fox, the chances are better of seeing at least signs of their presence. Then there are the large animals such as bear (not common), deer and moose. Deer are seen most often, bears almost never, and moose are seen more by the signs of their presence than seeing the animals themselves.
