Treehopper (Publilia) adults and nymphs

Reveler Conservation Area

Lots of activity on one goldenrod leaf. There is an adult treehopper, two ants tending their "herd", and lots and lots of tiny just hatched treehopper nymphs, no bigger than a minute as they say! The white specks on the leaf vein are the eggs from which the young have just emerged.
