Groundhog

My garden

One summer, a few years ago, this groundhog stopped by to feed on the fallen apples. I don't see groundhogs often in my garden, but once or twice a year one turns up and I am always happy to see them. I know some people don't like groundhogs, but I do, and I find them endearing.

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.“ :)

The groundhog here (Punxsutawney Phil) is on the wanted list for giving us more winter; reason for dislike???
Great snap of this northern brother having a nice snack nonetheless. V
