Grey Squirrels, Red Squirrels, Chipmunks, and Groundhogs (4 Galleries)

Lots of photos of Grey Squirrels, Sciurus carolinensis (including the melanistic or black phase of the Grey Squirrel), Chipmunks, the Red Squirrels of Eastern Ontario and the big ground squirrel, known as Groundhog or Woodchuck.

You'll notice that photos of black squirrels are labeled grey squirrels...which of course they are (see above). I decided it was too confusing to call them black squirrels as if they were a separate species when they are one and the same with the grey colour phase.

The chipmunks, groundhogs and red squirrels have their own galleries. Please click on the photo of these species to open up another set of photos.

The most recent uploads are at the beginning of the gallery.
