Eight-spotted forester (Alypia octomaculata), #9314

This small caterpillar was found feeding on wild grape, one of its favourite food plants (Virginia creeper is another). Unlike many colourful caterpillars who turn into drab brown moths, this one turns into a lovely crisply black and white moth.
