Widefooted Treehopper(Enchenopa latipes)

Found in Larose Forest. Many treehoppers seem to mimic thorns on a shrubs. A good way to hide in plain view! The thorn-like projection you see over its head (its eyes are underneath, close to the stem) is called the pronotal horn. In this species it is distinctively ridged.
