Leaving Perron, I drove east along the Clarence-Cambridge Rd. to Gagnon Rd, another dirt trail through the forest. I wanted to check on the Nodding trillium, but it was not quite in bloom. Along the way, Tasha insisted on a swim in this pond. She is standing on the beaver dam and just behind her you can see one of the turtle rafts that was built last year to give turtles some basking spots.
