Most walks in the Blue Mountains are along the cliff tops or involve "passes" down into the valleys. The National Pass track is a bit different: you go only half way down the cliff and follow a ledge from one "pass" to another. Wonderful views, easy except for all the steps getting back. These pictures are taken from four visits: First from a National Pass walk by myself, another with the people I work with (motivated by the confession by one lady that she had never seen a waterfall). Another set was with some visitors from Ireland: we opted for a slightly less strenuous walk mainly above the cliff line; still wonderful views, and some distant pictures of walkers on the more demanding National Pass walk toiling up the steps. And then a repeat of that walk with my daughter a year later looking for an unusual flower I had noticed but neglected to photograph last time. (I didn't find it.)
