Towards the Colo / Bob Turner's Track

Bob Turner's track in the Wollemi National Park starts from a ridge at Colo Heights and winds down to the Colo River 350 metres below. I had it to myself one wonderful clear spring day. I was hoping for a swim in "the beautiful pool", but the water was murky and unapproachable anyway because of very slippery brown mud.

There are other ways to the Colo. The first pictures here are taken looking towards the Colo from the south, but from a distance.
