Ireland 2014

These are some of the pictures we took in Ireland during a 14-day tour with a rented car, as the first stage of an extended
three-stage holiday/honeymoon. (The other two stages were in Scotland and France – documented in separate galleries.)

Advice for tourists to Ireland: (1) Ignore what you are told on the internet – that you cannot rent a car in Ireland if you over 74.
Having disclosed my age – 82 – in my application, I had no trouble renting a car from Sixt. (2) Get yourself a GPS navigation
device, and if it offers you a choice between shortest and fastest, choose "fastest" unless you like driving along farm tracks.
