Small ontological reflections

I suspect this picture could be used to illustrate some profound philosophical insights:
The tiny creature makes a pattern determined only by how its feet touch the water surface,
the fish (looks like two but one is a shadow) appears to be fleeing and the ripples appear to
radiate from an illusory ogre, and the creature is unidentifiable. All in an artificial pond.
