[This image had obviously been worked on with the 1920 version of Photoshop before I ever got to it. I mistook the
white streaks in the background for faults in the image – well, they look like creases – and went to a lot of trouble
to remove them. But then I noticed the word "plain" in Boerschmann's English title for the image, and realised I had
removed what must be rivers in the plain. So I've gone back to this minimally Photoshopped version. – P.D.]
