North of Bilpin, there is a pretty area for well-off retirees and hobby farmers called
Mountain Lagoon. A 5 Km fire trail leads further north, through the Wollemi National
Park, to where there are views over the Grose Valley and the wilderness to the north
and west. My daughter #1 and I drove to Mountain Lagoon and walked the length
of the fire trail, coming back with sore legs and a few good pictures like this.
