Oh Laine, I am as weary as one can get in winter and yes, these pics do help, our winter has actually been quite mild, I just hate the ho hum dreary look to everything and the wind and the bundling, ugh. Looks like your having a great time, enjoy and bottle up some of that sun. Happy New Year to you and yours, and I love this pic btw.
Beautiful. Wishing you a very happy and prosperous new year Laine.

Also the ship that Capt. Wm. Bligh served on, under Capt. Cook, prior to the infamous Bounty incident, if I'm not mistaken? Looks like a very pretty day there - we have 150cm of snow remaining on the ground - hopefully it's warming up soon! Happy New Year!
I find old ships beautiful and fascinating -- to look at. This one's a beauty, and the weather sure is nice to look at; it's windy, black, and raining buckets right now... Thanks for the taste of sunshine!
And... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! You'll get there first. :^)
Like Yvonne, I find these ships to be so small as to be claustraphobic. Can't imagine the months at a time those brave men spent on them. Good one, Laine. Looks like you had a blast.
So that is where the Endeavour is these days! I remember seeing it in Sydney Harbour about a decade ago. Did you find it smaller than you expected it to be? I did.
Nice photo.
