A day at Seaworld yesterday with the family. No time to visit here this morning & last night just too exhausted....but I feel frivolous talking about such things when I watch the death count rise & see those poor souls grieving.

They've all said it below, and I'll echo the same thoughts, and prayers.

It’s heartbreaking and it makes us realize how fragile we are!
Let’s enjoy life and pray for the victims.

Well timed photo Laine!
I am inspired by the wonderful rescue stories that I see and read about.
But the loss is devastating to families around the world and the little ones left homeless and without parents or family members to care for them.

Really makes you appreciate what and who you have. The little children are the ones I cry for the most--it will take a worldwide effort to help them.

Is nice to spend as much time as you can with your family. About the tragedy, it`s a sad and we can rise our prays for that people and, like RObin say in hisphotos: "If we can afford some money for helping..." he has a link to an aid center.

Sea World is a very special place and this is a wonderful photo. I agree...it is impossible to comprehend the enormity of the loss. In remembrance of those who lost their lives, value and enjoy this fragile gift of life.

Laine, terrible tragedies always remind me I should help others, but also live my own life to the fullest. If you live with joy and bring happiness to others, you make the world a beter place.

excellent capture Laine.... I agree, seeing what those poor victims of the Tsunami must be going through helps put a lot in perspective about my own life.

Good timing. Natural disasters make you feel humble and helpless.

A really nice photo Laine. Words can barely express the feelings seeing those poor
survivors grieving for their loved ones, and the hopelessness of it all. What a
sad year 2004 has been....war, earthquakes, tsunamis.

I know exactly how you feel. Life, however, must go on.
Guest 30-Dec-2004 09:49
Agree whole heartedly with your comments.

Laine, I know how you feel. Just thinking about what I should make for dinner made me think of those without a home, or food, or way to prepare a meal. I could go on…
