Trip to Sebory, Guinee

We visited Djouma Diallo in the village of Sebory, to the north of Dalaba. We were going to get a taxi but Madame Sow insisted on our using her car. She went out and found a driver for the car.

Djouma is a well know environmentalist in Guinee. He has a garden where he grows all kinds of interesting plants and trees. He has his own bees and makes honey. Djouma is well known to the PCV crowd and was the counterpart for Danny, a former PCV who just left Guinea recently. (Danny's parents live in Gaithersburg.)

Christina bikes to the village of Sebory to see Djouma once in a while. The ride looks quite challenging because of the elevation changes and also because the village is on the main road between Dalaba and Pita - but she can do it!
