That Old Guy Again by jono slack

here and there

Well, time to sew the winter wheat, and our old friend is back again - rather collapsed this year, but with a few new CD's to his name (maybe he deserves a name).
Blue apologises for the froth, but he's been chasing hares again!

love the depth of field and perspective - gives a real spacious feel and a motion rush

Hi Jono, wonderful. I like how the old guy is trying to mirror Blue. Shelby

HI There - thanks for the comments everone
David - I'm still getting to grips with sharpening with the D200, but I think this might be more to do with clumsy layering to get some detail out of the black dog.
kind regards jono

Always enjoy your scarecrows, Jono. This one's very intriguing. Maybe it's just my monitor, but I am a bit disturbed by the sharpening halo around the top of the dog's profile. -- DF

The guy is looking a bit worse for wear, but the dog's fine. Nice one - Quentin

What a fantastic and fantastically weird shot. 70's Album art with a sort of horror thing on the side. And I am now going to go and buy a really wide lens! Tim

Nice shot, Jono. Typical British workman, that scarecrow, sitting down having a tea break by the look of it.
The dog looks fedup.
Flick.
