LOL, thanks albert.
And i didn't buy any nuts at all this year, though we did have a lovely homemade nutroast for Christmas dinner, with stuffing, apple sauce, sprouts, roast spuds, roast parsnips and carrots, plus gravy ;-)

I just want to find a nutcracker and go at it!! Nice Flick! - Albert

Well, Tim, I must say it's a relief to be able to use higher ISO, though the E1 is noisier than my S2 was - brilliant high ISO performance was about the only thing i liked about that camera.
I wish the Kodak was lighter to carry. I do love it, it's capable of wonderful results within its own limitations, but I find myself using the E1 most of the time at present because a) I can carry it everywhere without risking a slipped disk, and b) the results straight out of the camera are stunning 99% of the time (when they aren't, it's usually my fault).
Flick.

Blimey, I must be crackers to carry on with my SLR/n... if I'd taken that shot at ISO 800 it would have looked like nuts in a sandstorm rather than the lovely warm inviting shot we have here. How I miss the covered market - I was at Exeter and my rooms looked over it so I got woken by the lorries every morning. It drove me n... (that's enough nut jokes...) Tim

Hi Janna, it was the lighting in the indoor market in Oxford, a weird mix of tungsten and fluorescent. Not bad for iso 800, though there is some noise at full screen in the large tiff.
Flick.
