Inside St Oswald's Chapel by Flick Merauld

Swinbrook, Cotswolds, UK

I very much enjoy poking around old chapels, churches and graveyards and photographing them. This one stands isolated in a field in the Cotswolds. It's built on a Roman fort.

Thanks Albert. It's a wonderful little chapel. I had to desaturate the windows to get rid of the purple fringing, and burn the inside of the window niches a bit, plus a touch of dodging in the rafters.

HI Flick - as for denomination, presumably it was catholic up until the reformation . . . . and now it's anglican . . . . don't you think?
Nice shot anyway. jono

Oh, thanks David. I've no idea of the denomination, but it's quite stark inside, so i would think it's Anglican.

Exquisite, Flick! I, too, like old churches and cemeteries. Is this one Anglican or Catholic? -- DF
