"The Source" by John Hill

This shot was taken in May 2003 with the Koday 14n about a month after I got the camera. Now is two years later and although the 14n regenerated into an 14Nx and then an SLR/n, I still like the images that came out of the 14n.

Beautiful: near symmetric detail and color not many cameras or artists could match - Blaine Byers

Beautiful John! - Regards Paul

A luminescent image, like a magical cave. The 14n at base ISO was probably a touch better than the 14nx/SLR/n sensor, but the new sensor has better reds, and no centre red blobs. But this is a really nice image - Quentin

This is lovely, john. i always thought the resolution and colour from the unaltered 14n were better, and if it hadn't been for the horrible noise above base level ISO, I don't think i would have had the upgrade done.
Flick.

John, I can certainly see why you liked the images that came from the 14n. This one is outstanding.
Best regards, Shelby
