"Poisonous Toadstools" by Paul Rohal

Mt Barker

I love mushrooms and am always keen to pick them if I find them in the country side. The trick is to ID the ones that are good for eating. My understanding is those that have a nipple or raised centre are off the good to eat list!!!

I find this very appealing. I like the structure, to me there seems to be two things going on. One group of mushrooms on the left, with several small ones near the larger one, as if they are looking at the senior member, and the two mushrooms on the right. The larger one appearing to shield the smaller one, as if its taking care of the child. It has such a realistic look that I keep waiting for some small creatures to show up and play.
Best regards,
Shelby
