Images in this gallery are from the LTM (Leica thread mount) version of this lens rather than the Nikon RF mount version. This 1952 lens is a remarkable performer and compares favorably to modern non-aspherical rangefinder lenses. I use this lens on a Leica M8 with a B&W 486 UV/IR cut filter mounted via a SOOGZ adapter which is intended to mount 39mm filters on older LTM lenses which take 36mm clip-on filters. For me the SOOGZ has proven to be a robust solution to the unusual filter thread of this lens.
