We arrived in the late afternoon and checked into the Best Western Bayshore Inn. Nice place.

Two of us walked to the waterfront by the hotel; after a few minutes, a man drove up in a pickup truck and dumped a bucket of fish skins into the bay. The gulls attacked it hungrily.

In the early evening, we drove to the "historic" downtown and looked around.
