My sister and I spent one of the most wonderful days I can remember with fellow PADer, Wynn, http://www.pbase.com/bandito/around_the_house and his lovely, vivacious wife, Teresa, exploring the north part of Long Island, searching for a break in the dense fog to see the Montauk Lighthouse, among other treausures. Wynn and Teresa are gracious hosts, funny and prepared for everything, including hauling my butt up when my ankle got wedged and I landed, like a dying fish, on the rocks. It's great to make new friends and we thank you both!! .

It is quite neat you all got to meet and to build on your on-line relationsips. This image with the fog is actually quite striking and has a lot of interest and punch to it.

I have to tell you, that this was an outstanding day, and you and your sister are just wonderful people. You can come crash in our house any day, any time, no matter what's going on. We definitely have to do this more often! We've gotta go to either Boston or D.C. like we talked about, and your sister has to go, too! The 4 of us had a nice, rounded group, didn't we?!!!

I'm really glad we had this day to play around with our cameras together - and start saving for some of those lenses you talked about getting - you know you want them! Bwah-hah-hah-hah!
